Valentine's Class

Here is a sneak peek of the Valentine's class I'm doing next week. It's a special day and I wanted to design a bigger-than-usual A5 card. This gave me a bit of an envelope problem...so I fished out my lovely upline, Liz's instructions on handmade envelopes and scaled them up. I discovered that I can just make an A5 envelope with a piece of 12x12 paper- brilliant! Add a top note and some adornments and you have a super-special envelope

Sale-a-bration - postage and postboxes

I made this card using my current favourite stamping technique. Although this looks like a strip of DSP across the middle it's actually a combination of stamping and sponging whilst masking the rest of the vanilla card. The stamps are from the current sale-a-bration. The vanilla card is backed onto some fanfair DSP and I've added a 'postage due' stamp on dimensionals and some bakers twine . Hope you like!

Sale-a-bration card

I really love what's on offer for sale-a-bration this year - here is a birthday card I made for a friend of mine. This DSP is amazing and the matching embossing folder is a favourite of mine already....

A wedding scrapbook page....

I haven't had a chance to make anything recently as I've just been skiing for a week - shame it's over but I'm very happy to get back to some card crafting! I though I'd share another page from my wedding scrapbook album....this uses the boho blossoms stamp set and punches, the viola lace stamp and elements of style stamp set on a crumb cake base with lots of white embossing powder! There are a few pearls to complete the look - I hope you like!

One's destination is never a place.....

More Fan Fair I'm afraid!!;) this is a combination of Fan Fair papers, DSP stacks - more mustard and riding hood red, with linen thread and an antique brad, backed onto natural card with most of the edges sponged with more mustard...no stamping at all in this one!!

More Fanfair

I just can't get enough of the Fanfair DSP :) this also uses Naturals card, Finishing Touches Edgelits, and some Linen Thread

Setting the stage

My husband pointed out that this looks like a stage curtain... It wasn't what I was originally going for but I think it suits it! I used basic black DSP, Fanfair DSP, the lovely Finishing Touches Edgelits, and Very Vanilla card to create this one.

Fan Fair Bicycles!!!

I really love the new fanfair paper, and particularly the bicycles - I think they make a great man card - and man cards are always tricky!! This card uses just one piece of DSP slightly smaller than A5 and layers of natural card which I sponged the edges of with more mustard ink. I don't know if it shows up well in the photo but the yellow bicycles are extra DSP which I fussy cut and dimensionaled on to add some depth and also to cut across the layers. I hope you like xx
